"Everyone has music within them. At Music Creation Academy, we help you discover that music and turn it into something amazing."
Derek Berg (Co-Creator of the Music Creation Academy program @ CH Music Academy)
This page will take you about 1 minute to read. You'll know instantly if our Music Creation Academy Program is right for you or your child (Age 12 - Adult).
This program is designed for musicians or music lovers ages 12 and up who want to do more than just play—they want to create.
We’re talking about taking that spark inside and turning it into something real, something that can be heard and felt by others.
Whether you’re into singing, songwriting, playing an instrument, or producing your own music, our goal is to help you unleash your full creative potential.
Our Music Creation Academy team is passionate about guiding you on a musical journey from simply loving music to making it an essential part of who you are.
MCA is more than just learning to play; it’s about finding your voice, your sound, and putting it out in the world.
What do artists like Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Charlie Puth, Billie Eilish & John Legend have in common?
They didn’t just stick to the traditional basics—they pushed their music further, creating songs that reflect their unique styles.
They found their own ways to express themselves, and that’s exactly what we want to help you do.
Our MCA team has spent years teaching and creating music, and we know firsthand how traditional lessons can sometimes miss the mark for creative students.
We’ve seen the patterns: many students get bored or feel stuck, especially when they’re forced into rigid, one-size-fits-all programs.
But what if learning music could be different?
What if it could be about exploring, experimenting, and truly creating?
Most of our MCA team were lucky enough to have had teachers that believed learning music didn’t have to be a chore.
It could be exciting, full of discovery, and—most importantly—it could be about finding my own path.
That’s what inspired us to launch Music Creation Academy. We wanted to build something for students who are ready to break out of the mold and find their own musical voice.
Who is Music Creation Academy for?
Our program is designed for those who want to:
- Turn their passion for music into original songs.
- Reimagine cover songs and make them their own.
- Share their music with a wider audience.
- Master recording techniques and create their own music from home.
- Develop a portfolio that reflects their journey as a musician.
How does the MCA program work to develop music creators (not just everyday music students)
We start with creation. Your coach/producer will work with you to craft both original songs and covers that capture your unique style.
Next, we move on to recording and producing, where your talent truly shines as you lay down tracks and refine your sound with professional guidance.
Finally, we guide you through releasing your music to the world, using platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music to reach a global audience.
This isn’t about following the same old traditional path. It’s about finding what excites you, what drives you, and using that to fuel your journey as a music creator. Our mission is to make sure your music doesn’t stay hidden inside you—it gets out there, where it belongs.
If you’re ready to create, record, and share your music with the world, the Music Creation Academy is here to help you every step of the way.
Let’s get started on this amazing journey together!
